The unit of 50 solar lanterns has been transferred to Mr. Ranveer for supporting the local people in meeting their need of light during night for study and other domestic works. It is not economically viable to cover the cost of the person involved in providing lanterns and collecting rent. As it is good for meeting various need of community so the unit is being supported by the SSS.
Lecturers of subject experts were organized at block level in the project area of SSS. Demonstration of the process of organic fertilizer making was also done with the help of experts and partnership of farmers. It is a matter of pleasure that in three villages local farmers contributed total cost of demonstration except the cost of expert.
With the aim to inculcate awareness among masses on various issues related with health and environment meeting and interface were organized in most of the project area of the SSS. The material and activities developed by the SSS were also utilized to let the community be aware of the issue and find their role for addressing them at local level. Following issues were adopted and activities were organized by the project team of SSS
